12, 939 For this month.

This month I participated in the rough draft challenge, that Sarra Cannon had started. This is a wonderful idea since leaving behind Nano is a challenge in its self. I am working almost full time at the  moment. New career and working days and hours is a change, but working on budgeting my time.

    In November 50k is the usual word count for this goal. This year I wanted to do something different and so happy I did this. Proud that the 12k I did write are all new fresh words, ideas, places. I have made my self a sprinting spread sheet on Google, where I track how much I write either it be brain storming or story writing it is all tracked and add up at the end of the day. 

    25mins of writing and a 5 min break. I have learnt, if I know what I am working on and just let it flow I can write 657 words in 25mins. Learning this about myself is interesting. Now I can take this, break it up in time and space in my weekdays and weekends. Also learning it takes about two months for me to write and finish the first rough draft, but that is just fine.  

 

Time to Burn the candle

 

Saying burning the candle at both ends, staying up late as the candle burns. Time...we all have the same amount of time in each day. None of us have more or less then the other person. But, sometimes it seems like they have more or sadly less.

Writing is a art of persistence, time management and dedication. Looking at this picture, remember burring the candle for the feeling of the scene I was writing, seeing the clock which no longer works is time standing still. In there here and no or when? The past maybe. 

Either way, that stack of books is a reminder that I have wrote a book, had it edited and self published. Seeing this accomplishment in myself is a happy spark!

This is the first book of many more to come. I am right now working on the third. The second book is done just not revised yet, this is a work in progress and process. 

I am working on making this book into an ebook. All books will be done in soft cover and ebook. Some will come with book marks and or charms. So the reader will also have a part of the fiction.
